They say it was national dog day but everyday in rescue is some sort of national or local dog day...
Silly sweet Sanctuary Senior Nellie is a happy old girl...still loves rolling around in the grass and getting belly rubs too. She's a Sanctuary Senior and not available for adoption... But we do have other beautiful great dogs available for adoption. Nellie had a scarey rough start in life is a bait dog survivor who came to HnMAR some time ago in really bad shape, lethargic, malnourished, severely underweight, afraid of everything and everyone, was depressed and with lots of love and accomodations made for her she has thrived here in rescue and absolutely loves it here. She's a healthy, happy, big old girl, who still has some fears of some people and some dogs but overall is living her best life safe, happy, and loved.
Like already previously mentioned, everyday is dog day in rescue.🐾

Good idea! Good use of a dog crate to keep dogs/cats from getting into the trash can...
