How about first an update on Nellie🐾 ...
Sanctuary Senior Nellie is now vision /hearing impaired due to old age. She loves living here and getting settled into our new location back home in our amazing beautiful Tarkington community. Here at Howls-n-Meows Animal Rescue she's made so much progress since her first day here years ago. She still has some fear aggression but after the bad hand life first dealt her as a bait dog survivor, being abused by bad humans it's perfectly understandable why she has some fear aggression.
With us here at the rescue she's the sweetest and knows she's safe here. Nellie loves belly rubs, rolling around in the grass getting stinky. LOL.😁 ...

Helloooo Tarkington community and beautiful surrounding areas!... We need your help and need a volunteer with a trailer and or box truck to help load Retriever and Tarter kennel panels, dog houses/supplies picking up items in Tarkington Cleveland area off 2518 to about 5 minutes from the road off 2518 today. Weather is good outside, people off work can help & everyone working together helps the animals have what they need... Or Zelle donations 8323158189 to help us rent a box truck from Home Depot in Dayton Mont Belvieu or a location close to Tarkington area or Uhaul to move the rescues supplies...

✅ Owned cats & dogs from 2 to 90 lbs. are welcome!
❌ Volunteers DO NOT get preferential treatment for sign-up, check-in, or check-out. The process is the same for all pet owners.
❌ We aren't able to fix puppies under 4 months old and kittens under 2 lbs.
❌ No pets older than 8 years old.
❌We DO NOT offer a vaccine/microchip-only clinic. Our focus is spay/neuter. ✂
❌ Flat-faced dog breeds (ex. Pugs, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, and English Bulldogs) and large breeds (ex. Great Danes, Cane Corsos, and Mastiffs) are not eligible for this event due to their specialized anesthesia needs.

We need the communities help please, in the Tarkington area... Please reach out to us if you have a shop or garage we can briefly put the rescues dogs inside in crates during the bad weather days this week. We're transitioning from one location to searching for a better location to reside with them. Currently we're back in Tarkington Cleveland area where we've helped so many animals and people in the community over the years.
Now we need help ourselves!

We need your help & can't afford to keep providing so many things out of pocket...we're in urgent need of dry cat food & dry dog food of Temptations kitten or yellow or red bag for the cats & mini bits Kibble n Bits or regular Kibbles n Bits for the dogs & Puppy Chow.
