The Leadership Pearland Class of 2026 participated in Pearland Day in Austin in February, joining more than 85 community leaders and business advocates in a coordinated effort to amplify Pearland’s priorities at the Texas Capitol. The Pearland Chamber of Commerce delegation conducted over 40 meetings with legislators and state agency officials to ensure the community’s needs and perspectives were heard.

The Leadership Pearland Class of 2026 is proud to announce the selection of their class project! This year, the class will be partnering with Saving Grace Women’s Home, dedicating their efforts to raising funds to help rebuild the organization’s prayer garden a peaceful and meaningful space for reflection, healing, and hope.

The class will host a series of fundraising initiatives to support this cause, and they are excited to kick things off with their very first event!

Join us for a special Kendra Scott at the Pearland Town Center giveback sale, where a portion of proceeds will go directly toward the project. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop for a cause and make a difference in the lives of the women served by Saving Grace.

The Leadership Pearland Class spent Service Day giving back and learning about our community. They volunteered at the Pearland Neighborhood Center Annual Food Drive, connected with local leaders, and learned about the impact of the Pearland Lions Club.

The group also visited the Forgotten Angels Foundation, Saving Grace Women’s Home, and Isaiah 117 House, gaining insight into the important work supporting Pearland families.

The Leadership Pearland Class of 2026 spent City Day exploring why Pearland proudly stands as “The Community of Choice.” From City Hall and Municipal Court to the Animal Shelter, Fire Station #4, and the Surface Water Treatment Plant, the class met with city leaders and learned how each department keeps our fast-growing community running smoothly.

Highlights included hearing from City Manager Trent Epperson—who shared that Pearland was recently ranked the #1 Best Place to Live in Texas—along with tours led by dedicated staff across multiple city facilities. The day ended with a special dinner and conversation with City Council, capped off by recognition from Mayor Cole.

The Pearland Leadership Class of 2026 kicked off their program with Business Day by exploring some of Pearland’s top companies and hearing from incredible community leaders! From a session on Generational Leadership with Sonya Atkins-Goodman to an update on PEDC’s Prosperity Plan from Matt Buchanan, the day was packed with insight.

The class toured Koza’s, Merit Medical, Endress+Hauser, Spacio.US, and Burns & McDonnell—gaining a firsthand look at the innovation, training, and entrepreneurship happening right here in Pearland.
