🚀✨ As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we’re celebrating educators like Brendajulissa Díaz, STEAM Teacher at Colinas del Norte Elementary School, who are inspiring the next generation of explorers.

Through a Mars Initiative Micro-G Education Grant, Brendajulissa’s “Mission: Space Cadet” project is giving 3rd and 4th grade students hands-on STEM experiences through coding, CubeSat building, and collaborative space-themed learning in their after-school Space Club. 🌎💻

And the mission is almost ready for liftoff… 🚀

Their student-built CubeSats are scheduled to launch aboard hot air balloons on May 10!

Thank you, Brendajulissa, for helping students dream bigger, reach higher, and see themselves in the future of space exploration. ✨

This at least suggests that Starship is about to start making successful flights instead of test flights that were likely to have problems. Could be an exciting second half of the year for SpaceX fans!

Follow the Artemis II crew's journey as they capture amazing visuals from their historic mission.

Artemis II lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1, 2026, and will reach the lunar sphere of influence—when the Moon's gravity exerts more force on the Orion spacecraft than the Earth's gravity—on April 5, before flying around the far side of the Moon on April 6.
