The PEARSON Foundation, Inc.—People Employing Available Resources to Strengthen Our Neighborhoods—exists to provide programs and activities through a Prayer-Care-Share approach that add value to people’s lives so
that entire neighborhoods are transformed. The Foundation has very intentionally focused on providing long term In-School and Community-based Mentoring, and After School Tutoring/Mentoring in the Metro Jackson/Pearl, Mississippi area . The Foundation has provided many services in the community since its inception: In-School & Community based Mentoring/Discipleship, After School Tutorial/Mentoring Program, Abstinence Education Program, Fatherhood Initiative, Youth Leadership Program, Summer Reading, English and Mathematics Institute, Summer Sports Camp, Parents’ Night Out (Parent training) and several family events. Our Prayer-Care-Share Lifestyle approach is directly linked to Jesus’ teachings: his model and example of humble self-abasing love and sacrificial-service for the good of others, especially the poor and needy.
