The 8th Annual Ozone Songwriter Festival returns to Historic Downtown Covington November 6–8, 2026 — and we’re kicking off the weekend in a BIG way.

Country music icon Deana Carter is coming to Covington for a special Friday Night Showcase at Fuhrmann Auditorium on Friday, November 6, joined by acclaimed songwriters Jaime Floyd and Greg Barnhill.

Best known for the unforgettable “Strawberry Wine,” along with fan favorites “We Danced Anyway” and “How Do I Get There,” Deana Carter brings the songs, stories and unmistakable voice of one of country music’s defining eras to an intimate Northshore stage.

And that’s just Friday night.

Saturday and Sunday, Historic Downtown Covington comes alive with 120+ live performances across 10 stages, plus songwriter programming, family activities, local food, shopping and more. Most festival events are FREE and open to the public.

We celebrate the extraordinary life of Dolly Parton — songwriter, storyteller, dreamer and one of American music’s most singular voices.

Long before the rhinestones, movies and worldwide fame, Dolly was a young songwriter from the Smoky Mountains with a remarkable gift for turning life, feeling and truth into song.

At the Ozone Music Foundation, we believe, as Dolly did, that songs matter. They carry our stories, connect generations and give voice to what we cannot always say ourselves.

From "Coat of Many Colors" and "Jolene" to "I Will Always Love You" and thousands more, Dolly shared her heart through music and inspired countless others to tell their own stories.

The music world has lost one of its brightest lights, but her songs remain.

Thank you for the songs, Dolly. We will always love you. ❤️
