Some family members and supporters of GCSO deputies have started a Citizen Support Group. The purpose of the group is to support our deputies when they are on lengthy scenes and also to provide for events such as the annual Christmas party, where employees can spend time together outside of the uniform. Monetary donations are welcome and can be made through Truist Bank under “Citizen’s Support Group for GCSO”, but that is not the only way you can assist. We could use volunteers to prepare, pick up, and/or deliver food and drinks when the need arises.
