Another fantastic LOVE ATLANTA project at the Healing Bridge Clinic in the books! Today, our staff, volunteers, and patients were treated to a complimentary car wash, all thanks to an incredible team from Passion City Church.

We are so deeply humbled by the immense love and support shown to us over the past few days. Thank you for filling our cups (and cleaning our cars)!

What an incredible transformation in front of our clinic, thanks to the support of our faith communities! Because of two amazing groups, our clinic has undergone a stunning update. THANK YOU to FBC Peachtree City for tackling the big ole tree that blocked the view of our building AND to the group from Passion City Church Trilith for the LOVE ATLANTA project to beautify the area that once hid our clinic. New patients can now see us much easier, and we have a beautiful, clear space for a road sign.

To all the local churches who consistently support our mission - we appreciate you more than words can say. Thank you for helping us stay visible and beautiful for the community we serve!

True compassion means ensuring that working hard doesn't mean sacrificing your health. Across Georgia, 70% of the patients who visit free and charitable care clinics are employed - often working multiple jobs to make ends meet without access to healthcare coverage. Through the Georgia Charitable Care Network 's safety net, of which we are a part, compassion heals. We help keep Georgia's workforce healthy, thriving, and out of the emergency room. Donate to our clinic today at www.healingbridgeclinic.org.

We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful community surrounding the Healing Bridge Clinic. Sue Burnett from of God Lutheran Church (shown with our Medical Assistant Domenica Brown) just came by to drop off a check for our clinic. Word of God Lutheran Church generously lists the HBC as one of their core missions, and this specific donation couldn’t have come at a better time. These funds will directly help offset the imaging costs we incurred during our recent imaging crisis.

To the congregation at Word of God: thank you for your steadfast generosity and for helping us keep our neighbors healthy! 💙

P.S. Speaking of imaging... we have some very exciting news we will be sharing soon! Stay tuned!

We had a great day at the clinic thanks to these wonderful people from Passion City Church - Trilith! A LOVE ATLANTA project brought several people from Passion City to our clinic to pray with staff, volunteers, and patients. Something special happens when Gods’ people pray!

We extend our sincere gratitude to Griffin Imaging for stepping into the gap during our recent imaging crisis. When our imaging provider suddenly dropped its service to us, Griffin Imaging stepped up to the plate to provide discounted imaging for our patients. They've been an incredible community partner during this time and we look forward to continuing to use their services as needed moving forward.

WE'RE EXCITED FOR OUR NEXT PHASE! A new announcement about our new imaging provider is just ahead. STAY TUNED for the exciting details!

This CNA Week, the Healing Bridge Clinic is celebrating the incredible impact of our volunteer CNAs, and we want to wish Jennifer Boston, Sephora Edward, and Emily Pang a very happy and well-deserved recognition!

These dedicated volunteers provide compassionate care to our patients while making a real difference in our community. They choose to spend their valuable free time taking care of others, embodying selflessness and commitment to service. This year's CNA Week theme, "We're Unbelievable," perfectly captures the extraordinary work they do. Join us in thanking them for their contributions to the well-being of our patients!

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing Nursing Program Partners who help keep the Healing Bridge Clinic thriving! These are just three of the nursing students who train with us from Georgia State University Perimeter College. Alongside wonderful students from Clayton State University, these aspiring nurses gain invaluable, hands-on clinical experience right here at the clinic. But it’s about so much more than practicing medical skills! They are gaining a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by the underserved and uninsured individuals in our community.

By stepping into our clinic, they aren't just fulfilling curriculum requirements; they are learning the true heart of patient care and advocacy.

Thank you, GSU Perimeter College and Clayton State University, for partnering with us to train the next generation of compassionate healthcare heroes! 💙

This month, we are shining our Volunteer Spotlight on Andy Thomas, a physical therapist who brings nearly three decades of expertise to our patients.

Andy has been a licensed PT since 1998 and a part of the rehabilitation team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital since 2004. For Andy, the core reward of his profession has always been simple yet profound: he loves helping people move better and feel better.

After a conversation with fellow physical therapist Dr. Aaron Honeycutt, Andy learned about our need for specialized rehab care and jumped right on board. He deeply understands the vital gaps the Healing Bridge Clinic fills for our neighbors who might otherwise go without medical assistance.

Thank you, Andy, for the dedication you bring to our clinic!

Our team had a fabulous day at the Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Thrift Shop Community Day at Drake Field in Peachtree City on Saturday. We were so honored to be invited to be part of the event with other nonprofits who serve our area. We met so many wonderful people, including those who wanted to volunteer with us as well as many people who knew of someone who would qualify for our free medical services. Thank you to our community for your wonderful words of support.
