Troop 59 Peabody

One of Troop 59's scouts recently completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by installing a free little food pantry at the Peabody West Branch library. Those in need can take what they need. Those that are able to can donate. The pantry is accessible when the library is open. Please spread the word so that those in our community that need to may take advantage of this resource.

The Peabody West Branch has introduced its own "Little Free Pantry," similar to the one located at the Main Library. We are actively inviting donations of non-perishable food items and hygiene products. Community members can contribute these essential goods to the designated shelving units, where they can be accessed by those in need. This initiative aims to unite our community in support of a meaningful cause. Not sure what to donate? Check out our Amazon wishlist by scanning the QR code to see what products the type of products we are currently taking.

To all the scouting moms who make sure their scouts always remember to pack their coats, or ground pads for campout. To the moms that work behind the scenes, and the ones right up front as leaders. To the moms that teach the scouts, do pick ups and drop offs, who help fundraise, and cook and keep the records and schedules. We couldn't do it without you!!
Happy Mother's Day!!!

We would like to extend our gracious thanks and appreciation to Wendy Ann Lattof and the residents of Ward 2 for choosing us to be the recipients of their Kindness Hero award for the month of March! We did not expect this, merely for doing what any scout should. Thank you!

Another great overnight at Battleship Cove. Scouts spent the evening exploring the USS Massachusetts, USS Joseph Kennedy, and the USS Lionfish before sleeping aboard the USS Massachusetts for the night. Staff had events, games, tours, stories, and more for all to enjoy.
