Dear Bridgewell Community,

I am writing to let you know that after lengthy and thoughtful consideration by our leadership team, we have decided to not merge with BAMSI. There will be no change to the Bridgewell organization or how services are delivered to those we support.

We initially felt that the merger would give us the opportunity to take our successful approach and adapt it to a larger population. Mergers go through an extensive review process to analyze the potential fit, and we reached the conclusion that this merger simply would not be in the best interest of our organization and our community.

While this chapter is coming to a close, Bridgewell remains strong, focused, and committed to our mission. The ideas, collaboration, and momentum generated through this work will help us continue building an even stronger organization and expanding our impact in the years ahead.

Thank you for your support and your trust.

Sincerely,

Christopher Tuttle
President & CEO

Bridgewell is pleased to announce the promotion of Molli Marshall to Vice President of Day Habilitation and Community Engagement.

Over the past 10 years at Bridgewell, Molli’s career has reflected tremendous professional growth and a deep commitment to our mission. She has advanced from direct service work into increasingly responsible leadership roles, most recently serving as Director of Day Habilitation Operations. In her new role, Molli will oversee Bridgewell’s four Day Habilitation programs, our Employment Supports and Community Based Day Services (CBDS) programs, and our recreation program.

Throughout her time at Bridgewell, Molli has demonstrated strong leadership in program operations, staff development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and engaging culture for employees and the individuals we support. She has also been instrumental in strengthening our Day Habilitation programs, developing leaders, improving outcomes, and advancing person-centered and trauma-informed practices.

Congratulations to Molli on this well-deserved promotion!

Last week, more than 100 family members, friends, former and current Bridgewell employees, and board members came together to celebrate the retirement of Elaine White and honor her remarkable 45-year career with Bridgewell.

The celebration was filled with stories, gratitude, and plenty of memories. Employees who first worked with Elaine at Saugus Geriatrics in the 1980s reflected on the program and what it was like to work alongside her.
