School is back in session and that means the Bike Bus is rolling again with the first ride on 8/21. We are looking to add another route or 2 on a different day of the week. We go, within reason, where the numbers are. Organize your POA, reach out to neighbors let us know you have a crew ready to ride!

A few brave souls showed up for the Town Tour and ended up earning a Lizard Sticker, 8 miles in temps over 95 degrees!

Whether it’s getting to school, heading to the park, or riding with friends, e-bikes have quickly become one of the favorite ways for youth in our city to get around!

As our streets and sidewalks get busier, Safe Streets for All remains our top priority. E-bikes offer fantastic freedom and mobility, but they also require a higher level of awareness especially when riders share space with pedestrians and traffic.

How parents can help keep Pea Ridge safe:

Check the E-Bike Specs: Make sure you know what class of ride your child is on. High-power e-motos and certain Class 3 bikes have specific state age and helmet requirements.

Talk Sidewalk Courtesy: Remind young riders that sidewalks are shared spaces pedestrians always have the right-of-way, and slow speeds are a must.

Street Smart Rides: When sharing the street, communicate with drivers, point in the direction of travel, treat intersections cautiously, and ride predictably.

We’re designing a new way to get around Pea Ridge and we need your help!

Following our workshop yesterday on "co-transit" models, we are officially gathering data to see exactly where the needs are in our community.

Public transportation works best when it serves the needs of the community and your voice is the most important part of this puzzle!

Please share this with your friends and neighbors. The better the data, the better we can serve Pea Ridge!

You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by the City of Pea Ridge, Arkansas , to better understand current travel behavior, transportation challenges, and community perspectives on a proposed transportation model called Co-Transit. Co-Transit is a proposed community-based para-tr...
