Did you see all the amazing hand-pieced quilts in the show last year? We had so many, we decided to create a new category. If you’ve done any hand piecing, you know it’s a whole different ball game!

Sally Anderson pieced this award winner, titled “Patchwork of the Crosses.” She shared this quilt story “I do not own a sewing machine. This is my first quilt EVER! My daughter put together a quilt for me to sew while I was going through cancer treatments and a bad fall down the stairs. This handwork helped me pass the time while I recovered from both and spent long days at the Huntsman’s Cancer Hospital. This quilt took me over 2 years to complete. Every stitch, stitched by hand.” Click the link in our bio for info on this years show in September.

This beautiful wall hanging quilt was last year's winner for the Challenge Quilt. Pieced and quilted by Beth Dunkelburger, she accepted last years challenge, bought the fat quarter at the previous years show, and in our opinion, created perfection! What do you think?

This is the challenge quilt fabric for this year, we can't wait to see what your amazing talents pull together!
