Palliative Puffs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is funded entirely by donations. Hospitals and care facilities can be lonely. Often the patients are homesick and they might miss cuddles from a pet. We are dedicated to creating high-quality, hand-made, custom-designed stuffed animals that are specific to what each individual patient needs. Our "Puffs" (as we call them) are stuffed
with high-quality memory foam that emulates a firm cuddle, and they are made with the softest yarn. The details and individually attached fur strands can resemble an existing pet at home or it can be the ultimate fantasy pet for the patient as a comforting companion. The team of "Puffunteers” (our knitting volunteers) are dedicated to bringing companionship and comfort to children, the elderly, and everyone in between who are disconnected from their families at a difficult time.
