Palliative Puffs We make custom stuffed animals & donate to palliative care patients, children in the hospital with anxiety, & people with dementia & Alzheimer’s.

Palliative Puffs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is funded entirely by donations. Hospitals and care facilities can be lonely. Often the patients are homesick and they might miss cuddles from a pet. We are dedicated to creating high-quality, hand-made, custom-designed stuffed animals that are specific to what each individual patient needs. Our "Puffs" (as we call them) are stuffed

with high-quality memory foam that emulates a firm cuddle, and they are made with the softest yarn. The details and individually attached fur strands can resemble an existing pet at home or it can be the ultimate fantasy pet for the patient as a comforting companion. The team of "Puffunteers” (our knitting volunteers) are dedicated to bringing companionship and comfort to children, the elderly, and everyone in between who are disconnected from their families at a difficult time.

The amazing kids at Payson Christian School in Payson Arizona are volunteering to help make Puffs for the children’s hospital to help comfort them during their stay. Adorable and cuddly AND can play with hair styles. They come with various hair ties too.

Jason, a vet with PTSD, received the gift of a weighted eagle we reserve for vets only! We feel honored to donate this hand-made Puff to this hero. He protected us and its our turn to comfort him. He wrote us a note:
" I just wanted to thank you and your staff. Lisa gave me the eagle, it's amazing. I will cherish the eagle. It feels amazing laying it on my chest letting the weight of the world disappear. Thank you!"

Funds are very much needed to support our ministry. We donate custom stuffed animals to palliative care patients, children in the hospital, and lonely people with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Our volunteers (Puffunteers) spend 25-40 hours PER Puff to create these gifts that should last in the families for generations. PLEASE share, and donate if you can!
