This is for families living in Canyon and Boise Counties ONLY

PLEASE NOTE* The attached file makes it sound like you can only apply if you are over the age of 65, a Veteran, or have a disability; however, simply having a low income is also a qualifying factor.

Each year, Zions Bank hosts its annual Paint-a-Thon, our largest employee volunteer service project. In 2026, more than 1,000 Zions Bank employees will volunteer their time to help improve homes across our community — and we are currently identifying homeowners who may qualify to have their home painted at no cost.

We are specifically looking for homeowners who meet one or more of the following:
• Low-to-moderate income households

• Veterans

• Individuals with disabilities

Income guidelines:
• $59,950 or less for a one-person household

• $68,500 or less for a two-person household
(Additional household sizes can be discussed.)

Project timing:
Paint-a-Thon 2026 will take place June 1–4. Some homes may require the full four days, while others may only need two or three days depending on the size and scope of the project.

What Paint-a-Thon provides:
• Full exterior home painting (weather permitting)

• Yard work and small exterior projects (such as landscaping clean-up, trimming, light repairs, etc.)

• All paint, supplies, and materials

• Skilled volunteer teams

• A professionally coordinated service project

• No cost to the homeowner

This program is designed to support homeowners who may not otherwise have the financial ability to complete needed exterior maintenance or yard improvements.

Homeowners can contact us at:

Speak up for Head Start!
Email Your Members of Congress

The FY27 federal appropriations process is underway, and there is an opportunity to advocate for increased Head Start funding. Members of the House of Representatives are being asked to sign onto bipartisan “Dear Colleague” letters that support Head Start and will be sent to the key appropriations subcommittee. These letters highlight the program’s benefits and the importance of increased funding. The goal is to secure broad support from lawmakers across both parties to demonstrate strong backing for Head Start and encourage higher funding levels.

PLEASE take one minute to click on the link below to email your Member of the House of Representatives and urge them to sign the FY27 Head Start Appropriations Support Letter… and encourage your friends to do the same.

National Day of Action: Protect Head Start – End the Shutdown!

Today, WICAP Head Start joins the National Head Start Association and partners across the country to stand up for children and families impacted by the federal government shutdown.

If the shutdown continues past November 1, more than 140 Head Start programs in 41 states and Puerto Rico could be forced to close, affecting nearly 65,000 children who depend on nutritious meals, health screenings, and the caring teachers who help them thrive.

We’re calling on Congress to act now — come to the table, end the shutdown, and protect Head Start before harm is done.

👉 Take action today: https://www.ffyf.org/actions/2025/email-congress-end-the-shutdown/

Let’s make our voices heard for our children, families, and communities. ❤️

American Families To Congress: End the Shutdown As the federal shutdown drags on with no end in sight, more families with young children are feeling the pain. And on November …
