🏈📣 MAN OH MAN…WHAT A DAY FOR PBL📣🏈

Opening Day is officially in the books, and what a day it was! ❤️🤍 All four PBL Youth Football & Cheer teams showed up, battled hard, and gave us a day full of football, excitement, and plenty of reasons to be proud!

🏈 FLAG: Came up just short in a thriller, 40–34!

🏈 MIGHTY MIGHTS: Pulled off a nail-biter, 13–12! 🙌

🏈 JUNIORS: Played a tough one and held the Trojans scoreless, finishing 39–0! 💪🔥

🏈 SENIORS: Battled hard from start to finish but ultimately came up short, 47–18.

Wins, losses, big plays, tough battles, and most importantly — a whole lot of heart! ❤️ Every one of these kids should be proud of how they showed up today.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, cheered from the stands, volunteered, supported our program, and helped make Opening Day such a success! 👏

But we’re not done yet…

MORE THAN FOOTBALL. 🏈💙💛

Every youth sports program has people who quietly become part of its story.

For PBL Panthers Youth Football, Rocky Marron is one of those people.

For more than a decade, Rocky has poured his time, energy, and heart into coaching our kids. And when we asked him to look back on all those years, what stood out wasn’t just the wins, championships, or unforgettable Friday nights.

It was the people.

The kids he watched grow up.

The players who later came back to coach.

The friendships built with fellow coaches.

The parents who trusted him with their children.

And all those little moments that probably didn't seem very important at the time—but years later became the memories that stick.

Rocky said something that perfectly captures why youth football matters:

“Football is an incredible provider of life lessons.”

Learning how to win.

Learning how to lose.

Learning to respect your teammates and opponents.

Learning that the success of the team can mean more than individual success.

And maybe most importantly—having fun while you're still a kid.

One of Rocky's favorite memories came in that unforgettable 46–40 win over Iroquois West. But that night is only one snapshot in a much bigger story.

Rocky's legacy isn't a scoreboard.

It's the young people he has influenced along the way.

Rocky, thank you for everything you've given to PBL Youth Football and to this community.

We're fortunate to have coaches who understand that what happens beyond the field matters every bit as much as what happens on it.

One program. One family. One community.

🚨 CALLING ALL PANTHERS! 🏈💙💛

It takes a team to create an unforgettable game day experience for our young athletes.

We're looking for a few enthusiastic volunteers to join our Game Day Crew this season!

We're currently seeking:
🎙️ Game Day Announcers
👀 Spotters
⏱️ Scoreboard Operators

Whether you can help for one game or all four games during any of our four home field events, we'd love to have you on our team.

These roles may not be on the field, but they play a huge part in creating an exciting atmosphere for our players, coaches, families, and fans. The announcer brings the action to life, the spotter helps ensure every play and player number is communicated accurately, and the scoreboard operator keeps the game running smoothly.

✅ No experience necessary—we'll provide the training and support you need.

🏈💙💛 PBL Football & Cheer Update – Please Read! 💛💙🏈

🏈 Optional Football Conditioning Practice – Saturday Senior Head Football Coach Rocky Marron will be holding an optional make-up conditioning practice tomorrow from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mighty Mites/Junior practice field.

This will be a No Contact Conditioning Practice.
Please bring: ✅ Helmet ✅ Shoulder Pads ✅ Cleats ✅ Full Water Jug

All football levels are welcome! Even if you haven't missed a practice, you're encouraged to come out and get some extra work in.

🌡️ Monday Practice Schedule Change
Due to the anticipated heat, all Football and Cheer practices (all levels) have been moved to 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday.

🏈 Football players should still plan to be in full pads.

Thank you for your flexibility as we work to keep our athletes safe while continuing to prepare for a great season. We appreciate everyone's support and can't wait to see our Panthers back on the field! 💙💛
