“Why would someone who experiences sexual violence choose not to report it to the police?”

We hear this question a lot, especially when a headline-making case involves a delayed report. But by listening to survivors, we learn that they have MANY reasons. Exploring them helps us understand and respect the difficult decisions made in the aftermath of assault.

Our staff work hard day in and day out, and in our line of work, taking time to care for ourselves is so important. 💚

A huge thank you to Blayne and Caroline at Anywhere Fitness for helping our team do just that by hosting a private workout class for Clove Alliance staff last Friday! We lifted, ran, sweat, and laughed… a lot. 😅 It was the perfect way to move our bodies and have some fun together.

We’re so grateful to have community partners who not only support the mission of Clove Alliance, but also support the people behind it. Thank you, Anywhere Fitness, for giving our team a fun and refreshing way to end a busy week! 💪💚

Have you heard the news? We've moved our Paxton office into the heart of downtown at 106 S Market St in the historic former Paxton State Bank building. The space has been beautifully renovated to welcome survivors and local partners so we can continue offering advocacy, counseling, legal services, prevention education, and other resources close to home for our Ford County community.

You don't have to be an expert to talk with your child about body and digital safety. What's most important is that you start!

Teach your child that their body belongs to them. Help them identify trusted adults. Ask what they're doing online. Remind them they can come to you with questions or concerns.

Our latest blog includes age-specific activities, books, and resources to help you kick off and keep these important conversations going.

And you don't have to do it alone. Clove Alliance also offers workshops and prevention resources for parents and caregivers!

Reporting on gang r**e allegations at Cornell University has gone viral. It’s a deeply troubling story, and it’s also too familiar.

It highlights the systemic issues that shape so many survivors’ experiences: sexual violence enabled by a culture that normalizes sexual entitlement, fails to equip people to intervene, and makes it difficult for survivors to access meaningful accountability.

This case has sparked a lot of outrage. Let's turn it into action! Advocate for evidence-based prevention education that helps young people build a culture where respect and consent are expected, and for meaningful pathways to accountability that survivors can rely on.
