🌸 Flowers that feed kids? YES PLEASE. 🌸

This month, Pawtucket Backpackers is the Bloomin’ 4 Good beneficiary at Stop & Shop (Newman Ave, Seekonk)! That means when you buy the $11.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet, a portion comes back to us to help fill backpacks with food for Pawtucket kids. 🧡

So if you need flowers for someone you love, someone you like, someone you’re trying to impress…or just because your house needs a little cheering up…buy the flowers! 💐

Your bouquet looks pretty AND helps put food on the table. That's a pretty good deal. 😉

🎂We're fortunate to have dedicated corporate partners such as Fidelity Investments. Last week we were able to donate 95 birthday bags to Pawtucket-area schools to ensure no child goes without a cake on their birthday! Thank you to Fidelity's Philanthropy team for partnering with us on this meaningful project.🎂

🌻 Give flowers. Give back. 🧡

We’re so excited to share that Pawtucket Backpackers is the September beneficiary of the Bloomin’ 4 Good Program (at the Newman Ave, Seekonk location ONLY)! 🌸

That means when you pick up a Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet this month, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to help us provide weekend food bags to Pawtucket students. 🥰

And September is a pretty great month to give someone flowers! Here are a few ideas:

💐 Brighten a teacher’s desk
🌷 Thank a school social worker or counselor
🌻 Surprise a neighbor
💛 Give a friend a little pick-me-up
🌸 Thank a volunteer or coach
🌼 Bring flowers to a host or hostess
💐 Celebrate a birthday or milestone
🌻 Or…just buy them because you deserve them, too! 😉

Thank you! 🧡

📚 Missed the Back to School Celebration?

If you were unable to attend one of our 27th Annual Back to School Celebration sites, there may still be backpacks and school supplies available.

Families can contact 211 Rhode Island to learn about available backpacks. Supplies are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who helped make this year's celebration a success and support thousands of Rhode Island students as they prepare for a great school year!

Today, the Pawtucket Backpackers, with the support of Fallon Elementary and their volunteers had the opportunity to provide food for 191 families facing food insecurity. In addition to tables of shelf stable food, we were also able to provide 3,950 lbs of produce! We had apples, pineapples, plantains, lettuce, romaine, onions, carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, mangoes and more! What a wonderful day to be able to help so many in need!
Thank you to the Fallon PTA, Winter Wonderland volunteers, Fallon teachers and the Pawtucket Backpacker volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this happen!
