🌸 What’s in a logo? 🌸

Ever wonder about the flowers of our Alpenblumen logo? They aren't just pretty blooms - they tell our story! Two flowers honor our Patenverein: G.T.V. "Almrausch" (Philadelphia) and "Edelweiss"-Passaic (New Jersey). They are paired with Enzian, another classic Alpine favorite honored by other Schuhplattler clubs!

Together, they represent our roots, our friendships, and our love for Alpine culture!

On behalf of the whole group, DANKE SCHÖN to everyone who joined us this past Friday for our Dirndls for Dancers fundraiser. With your support, we sold over 100 schnitzel dinners and raised a significant portion of our Dirndl fund goal!

Seeing so many neighbors and friends come together to support our tradition means the world to us. These funds will go directly toward the materials and accessories for our new Dirndls, ensuring our dancers are ready for the stage for years to come.

Congratulations to all of our raffle and silent auction winners! We hope you enjoy your prizes donated by our wonderful local businesses and volunteers.

We are so proud to be the area’s only traditional German Schuhplattler dance group, and we couldn't do it without this community. 🥨✨Prost to a successful night at the German American Cultural Society of Rhode Island!

Join us for our Dirndls For Dancers Benefit on April 17th for a night of German food, live music, and dance performances! We are raising money to fund new traditional German dresses for our growing Schuhplattler group based in Rhode Island! The night will also feature a raffle of locally-donated goods and a silent auction.
