Shipment day is always exciting, but when there are two shipments in two days, the excitement is hard to contain! These shipments are more than containers filled with supplies. They are the physical representation of hope and empowerment traveling across the ocean and into the hands of people who need help most.

On Tuesday, October 6, we sent our 33rd international shipment, but its final destination is a little different than normal. This shipment is headed to Coconut Creek, Florida, where our partner, Food For The Poor, has its U.S. warehouse. From there, the shipment will be divided among several shipments headed to Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, and Jamaica.

Why?

Because this was an Angels of Hope Shipment!

On October 2, Midwest Mission sent International Shipment #32 to Guatemala, partnering with Food For The Poor and the Order of Malta to provide practical resources and humanitarian aid to communities in need.

The 18,465 pound shipment has a total value of $162,367 and includes a wide variety of resources that will serve people in different ways.
