National Wreaths Across America Day 2026

This year, National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2026.

Join millions of volunteers and supporters as they come together to Remember, Honor, and Teach at more than 5,500 participating locations across all 50 states, at sea, and abroad.

Our Pawnee City ceremony is currently in the early planning stages. As additional details become available, we will share updates with the community.

4-H'ers, thank you notes aren't hard to write, and they mean a lot to their recipients! If you haven't written one yet to those who supported you at your county fair, why not get it done this weekend so that you can cross it off of your "to-do" list.

Remember that people don't HAVE to support you and your fair - they do it because they believe in you and in the 4-H program.

And parents, let your child write the note! Fair supporters don't care if the handwriting is messy, or if a word is misspelled! It's much more meaningful if your child writes it him or herself.

So use those 4 Hs! Use your Head to think of a nice note, your Hands to write it, your Heart to make it meaningful, and your Health will be better for having gotten it done!

🎉🍀 What a fun way to wrap up the 2026 Pawnee County 4-H Shows! 🍀🎉

Our final showcase of the fair was the first-ever Best Dressed Animal & Showman Contest, and it did not disappoint!

4-H'ers dressed up themselves and their livestock, then paraded around the arena to themed music, showing off their creativity, personality, and teamwork. The crowd enjoyed every minute of the entertainment and, at the end of the competition, cast their votes to determine the winner!

Thank you to all of our participants for making this inaugural event such a memorable one. We loved seeing the imagination and fun that each exhibitor brought to the arena. Here's to making this a new Pawnee County 4-H tradition! 💚🍀🐄🐖🐑🎶👏
