The path we walk is not a static thing. It is a force, an intelligence, and it, too, is alive. For those of us who learn how to listen, it will tell us how to move, how to be, how to walk, how to bring into being that discrete entity which occurs when the path and I form a synchronicity, when we become one thing together. But that can only happen if I yield to it, let it teach me, become its student. And over time, as experience develops, far more than simple balance is achieved. Walking the path becomes a kind of dance, a form of love making, a way of being, an experimental reading of the living text of Earth itself, all of this and more.

Heron Brook Haven has always been about being real. Human connection and connection with All Our Relations. We haven't changed that, nor will we. That isn't to say we haven't expanded or grown. It says we do keep it real, honest and about remembering who we really are.

The four laws of a Chaman
The first says:
"The person who comes into our life is the right person"; In other words, no one comes into our lives by chance, all the people around us, who interact with us, are there for something, to make us learn and advance in each situation.
The second law says:
"What happens is the only thing that could have happened." Nothing, but nothing, absolutely nothing of what happens to us in our lives could have been otherwise. Not even the smallest detail.
There is no such thing as: "if I had done such a thing, such another would have happened ...". No. What happened was the only thing that could have happened and it had to be that way for us to learn that lesson and move on. Each and every one of the situations that happen to us in our lives are perfect, even if our mind and our ego resist and do not want to accept it.
The third says:
"Anytime it starts is the right time." Everything starts at the right time, not before, not after. When we are ready for something new to begin in our lives, that is when it will begin.
And the fourth and last:
"When something ends, it ends." Just like that. If something ended in our lives, it is for our evolution, therefore it is better to leave it, move on and move forward already enriched with that experience.
I think it is not by chance that you are reading this, if these words came into our lives today; it is because we are prepared to understand that no snowflake ever falls in the wrong place. "
