Located at 400 Palmer Avenue in Pawhuska, OK, Dance Maker Performing Arts Academy strives to impact the vibrancy and diversity of the Pawhuska, OK community by offering opportunities for arts education. What a whirlwind week! 🩰✨

We are absolutely bursting with pride for every single dancer who stepped out on the floor for our Nutcracker auditions. Everyone danced brilliantly, and your dedication, courage, and talent shone so brightly. We are incredibly proud of all our participants!

Now, we are heading into Week 3 of classes with all the style, sass, and energy we can handle! Let’s head into the studio ready to hit it hard, dance strong, and move with pure joy. See you on the dance floor! 💃💪

🎄We are thrilled to invite students from our Public School Dance Program to audition for Dance Maker Academy’s Nutcracker! 🎄

This includes: Indian Camp Elementary (1st and 2nd grade), Pawhuska Elementary (3rd grade), Barnsdall Elementary (3rd grade), and Wynona Elementary dance classes!

Dance Maker Academy

📆When:
Thursday August 27th 6:00-6:45p

🩰What to wear:
Please wear leggings or shorts and a t-shirt, socks or bare-feet. Make sure long hair is pulled back and secured away from the face.

❣Students must commit to one rehearsal per week, one Saturday rehearsal per month, and all performances in December.

🎄Auditions forDanceMakerAcademy's annual production of The Nutcracker begin this week! Check out the flyer to see the official schedule and find your dancer's slot.

📅 When: August 24th – 27th, 2026
📍Where: Dance Maker Academy 400 Palmer Ave, Pawhuska, OK
👥 Who: Boys & girls, Level Primary (age 6 by Dec) and up! (Must be enrolled in at least 1 weekly class)

⏱️ Quick Schedule:• Ballet 3: Monday (Aug 24) @ 6:00-6:45 PM•
Primary (Ages 6-7): Wednesday (Aug 26) @ 4:30-5:30 PM•
Ballet 1 (Ages 8-9): Thursday (Aug 27) @ 4:30-5:30 PM•
Ballet 2& 3 (Ages 10-14): Thursday (Aug 27) @ 6:00-6:45 PM•
Ballet 4 & 5: During regular classes

✨ Dress Code:• Girls: Pink tights, leotard, ballet shoes, hair in a bun 🎀• Boys: Black pants/shorts, white t-shirt, ballet shoes

Auditions for The Nutcracker begin this week, and we are thrilled to welcome both our own students and local public school dance students to the cast! This includes students from Indian Camp Elementary, Wynona Elementary, Barnsdall Elementary, and Pawhuska Elementary.

🗓️ Audition Schedule:
Studio Dancers: Auditions will take place during your regularly scheduled classes this week.

Public School Dance Students: Thursday, August 27th | 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM
📍 Rehearsals: Dance Maker Academy (400 Palmer Ave, Pawhuska, OK)
🎭 Performances: The Constantine Theater (110 W Main St, Pawhuska, OK)

✨ Requirements for School Students:
*No need to enroll in a studio class if you take dance at your school!
*Must be aged 6 and up.
*Must commit to 1 weekly rehearsal.
*Must commit to 1 Saturday rehearsal per month.
*Must commit to all performance dates.
