❣We are so glad our elders have the opportunity to connect with Bobby Tallchief, Director of Osage Nation Emergency Management, this Wednesday, August 12th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

To make certain that everyone can participate, we are shifting our movement schedule for the week: 🩰 Chair Ballet will take place on Friday, August 14th at 10:00 AM instead of Wednesday. Stay safe, stay active, and we will see you soon!

We are so proud to offer Chair Ballet Classes and Fine Art Classes through the Oklahoma Arts Council's Creative Aging Initiative. Thank you, Oklahoma Arts Council for providing our community with the resources to create, to collaborate, and to connect with our Elders! And it's super exciting to see dancers from our area! ✨ We are so incredibly grateful that Misty Copeland visited Fairfax, OK and spent time with our community. She is famous for her beautiful artistry, but she is also one of the most gracious, generous, and kind individuals we have ever had the privilege to meet. 🥹❤️At Wahzhazhe Ballet, we are doing our best to continue the legacy of our Osage ballet pioneers, Maria and Marjorie Tallchief. We are deeply honored that Misty is celebrating that continuation by sharing pictures of our beautiful dancers, Seeley Grace Card and Lilian Guillen Hudgins! 🩰🪶Thank you for your beautiful spirit and for inspiring our mission, !

Looking back at our performances of "Coyote and the Ant" for the students of Council Oak Elementary in June. We just had to share their video. The young audience members were spectacular! We are so grateful for these opportunities. 💖

Happy Father's Day to all of the incredible dads, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who support Osage Ballet!

While our dancers shine under the stage lights, so much of the magic happens behind the scenes. Thank you for building sets, moving props, hanging lights, running sound, carrying boxes, helping around the studio, and lending your time and talents wherever needed. Your quiet dedication, hard work, and unwavering support make our productions possible.

We are deeply grateful for the many ways you help our dancers' dreams take center stage. Happy Father's Day! 💙

A BIG thank you to Council Oak Elementary for hosting Osage Ballet's performance of "Coyote and the Ant" this morning!

Our dancers loved sharing this story with such a wonderful and attentive audience. It was a joy to see their enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the performance.

We are grateful for opportunities to bring the arts into our schools and connect with young audiences through dance and storytelling. Thank you for welcoming us!
