So our Christmas items have been retired, and this week, Jan 6-10, will feature not only all pants at $1/ea, and including a free pair of untagged pants with any pants purchase (tagged pants are half price)...BUT jammies and skirts, going forward, are half price (this applies to both tagged and untagged items.
Check back weekly to find out what new sales will pop up, as we wind down our winter selections and get ready for spring.

Christmas sales start next week, with Christmas items available for 1/2 their tagged price. There are lots of holiday items to choose from, too!
Sales on pants continue: $1/pr if untagged and 1/2 the tagged price if the pants are tagged with a special price. PLUS, with every pair of pants sold, the customer will get a free pair of untagged pants as well.

We're ready for the holidays, and for your holiday shopping. Come to our Thrift Shop at 165 S. Broad St in Pawcatuck to shop our collections of gifts, clothing, linens, cards, books and shoes, not to mention handbags. As an added treat, we have priced our pants at $2/pair (tagged pants are not discounted, though). Happy Holiday Shopping!
Hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 3pm, and Saturdays, 11am to 3pm.

Our Thrift Shop is in need of clothing donations, especially women's clothing, fall and winter seasons. We welcome items clean and in good repair. Please bring them to us at our shop in Pawcatuck, 165 S. Broad St., in the back part of the strip mall next to the Stonington Police Department. Our shop is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday every week from noon to 3pm, and on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm. Our members working whatever day you come are glad to see you and will be happy to receive your donations and tell you more about our club and our shop.
This is a wonderful opportunity to clean out your closets and bureaus of items that you really don't need any more, and to know that we'll be delighted with them. And remember that all proceeds from the shop are distributed in grants and scholarships in our community.
AND, we are also happy to receive donations of housewares, giftware, craft supplies, books, and vintage items!

Only two weeks until we change over our summer clothing to autumn and winter! All clothing on sale, $1/item. Then a $5 bag sale. Then, the next time after that...cold weather clothing will fill the racks.
This coming week, 8/17-23, is 2025's tax-free week. There's another savings for those who shop right away!
We're on Rt 1 in Pawcatuck, in the strip mall next to the Stonington Police Department. Our hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 12-3, and Saturdays, 11-3. All year!

Let's talk about the sales upcoming at our Thrift Shop between now and early September. It's really one big sale, beginning with $2 pants/capris/PJs/skirts (tagged items go for 1/2 the tagged price). Each week, another item goes on sale, so next week, beginning 7/29, dresses will go on sale, $2 each. The week after that (8/5) tops will be added to the list of sale items. Shoes and handbags are included throughout.
Then come price cuts. The week beginning 8/12, pants/shorts/capris/pj's/skirts will be $1/item. The next week after that, beginning 8/19, dresses will be added to the sale, at $1/each.
Beginning 8/26, all clothing will be priced at $1; except, of course, tagged items which will be 1/2 the tagged price. The tagged item price cuts apply throughout...half the tagged price.
The week of 9/2-9/6 will be a bag sale...all the clothing you can stuff in a shopping bag, which we will provide, all for $5. This bag sale includes tagged items.
And then we'll say goodbye to summer, and change over to fall/winter.
So mark your calendars for the right weeks for your favorite items to search for. And of course, there's a week in August that CT forgives sales tax, which we'll take into account.

Big oops WRT our summer sale at our Thrift Shop. At the moment, only pants, shorts, and capris are priced at $2/item, and tagged sale items are selling at half price. Further discounts will happen later in the summer. Thanks for your understanding of my confusion!
Of course we look forward to seeing you in our shop...still at 165 South Broad Street in Pawcatuck, across from Stonington HS and next door to the laundromat in the strip mall.

Good news for our shoppers! Our summer shopping sales begin this week. Come in and shop our racks, not to mention our large selection of housewares, linens, and books. Our Thrift Shop is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 12-3 and Saturdays 11-3. All clothing sells for $2/item, and all tagged items at 1/2 their tagged price.
We're already looking forward to rolling over to fall/winter clothing, but we still have a few months of warm weather, so this is a great time to grab great items.
We're located in Pawcatuck, 163 S Broad Street...the strip mall next to the Stonington Police Department...next to the laundromat.
Shopping with us is not only a bargain for you, but an opportunity to help us give back to our community. Our workers (our members) will be happy to greet you when you visit us there!
