Today is the day!

Thank you again to all of those who sponsored, golfed or volunteered for our fundraiser, the AE Roofing & Contracting Open - Sponsored by Lawton American Legion a special thank you to AndysArmy and of course A.E. Roofing & Contracting.

Today the fruits of those labors are officially on the final step of completion! Drive by and wave at the people working hard to preserve the historic train station!

We want to send out another huge thank you to everyone involved in this endeavor to repair the Lawton American Legion Waters-Hackenberg Post #220 home at the historic train station.

It is safe to say the golf event was a success, we had a ton of fun, raised the funds for the much needed roof by A.E. Roofing & Contracting, and we learned how to improve our event for next year.

In early, September we will have a new roof!

Sponsor banners are up and the chimney repair is in the books for late August. We are moving along.

The Lawton American Legion Waters-Hackenberg Post #220 is proud to announce that through fundraising and awareness resulting from this event we have secured $23,000 in cash and just over $90,000 in like kind trade and donations of goods and services. Thanks to these raised funds, in part also by AndysArmy major contribution, a new roof by A.E. Roofing & Contracting, our title sponsor, is coming this September.

We are incredibly thankful to our dedicated committee members and community support for making all of this possible.

We are searching for individuals looking to make an impact here in the local community to join our golf fundraiser committee for next year. The committee meets monthly to help organize and drive fundraising, sponsorships, donations, and participation. This is also a fantastic networking opportunity.

What an amazing turn out for the golf fundraiser with A.E. Roofing & Contracting
Now that the dust has settled, we just want to say thank you. You will see a new roof up the Depot this summer!

If you golfed with us last year then you know, we stepped it up big time this year, and it was not without a ton of extra effort.

Thank you to our Golf Fundraiser Committee (GFC), Chairman -John Kyle Streeter , Lyle and Shannon Paterala-Streeter, Victoria Ziemer , Leo Martinez, Heather Shannon, John Thayer, and Jayna Miller.

Thank you to our Sponsors for donating, supporting and showing up early and making it a great event for our golfers.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who came and manned the holes, prizes, carts and more, we could not have done this with out you.

And thank you to our golfers. you are the heart of our annual event and again this could not go on with out you all as well.

We hope to see you next year where we plan to keep the improvements coming.
