They charter FIVE Scouting America units - Scouts BSA Troop 1191 Mount Airy MD, B and G, Cub Scout Pack 1191, Venturing Crew 1191, and Sea Scout Ship 1191 Mount Airy MD. We honor this celebration with opening and closing flags.

Great weekend at Frederick District Scouting America National Capital Area Council Fall Cook-o-ree hosted by Frederick Chapter - Amangamek-Wipit Lodge Order of the Arrow! Great weather and great food! A big shout out to our youth who worked hard to make this vision come alive! From planning the stations, asking adults to help, taste testing, providing service at the stations, and running the program, it was a testament to what youth led looks like LEVELED-UP!

P.S. The adults even had some fun with the adult leader cook off! Our adult leaders taking the win with a sweet spicy combination that had mystery ingredients of creamed corn and apple. Result: Southwest Cowboy Beans with Apple Cornbread!
