All of the pre-K students came together on Earth Day to learn about how we can take care of our planet and why it's important to plant trees. Teachers shared Google slides all about fig trees and figs. Our fig tree is now located outside of the Billingsport pre-K playground! While exploring, students stumbled upon a praying mantis nest that was on a shovel from Miss Kathy's tool shed! We put it in our butterfly net and plan to observe it hatch!

Black history isn’t a sidebar to American history, it is American history. Teaching it in every school community helps students see the full truth: Black Americans are more than a single chapter rooted in slavery or the harmful stereotypes pushed by the media. They are innovators, leaders, creators, and change-makers. An honest education challenges misinformation and honors those who have contributed to building this nation.

A joint professional development day, bringing together staff from the Paulsboro Public Schools and the Gibbstown Public Schools. In collaboration with the Paulsboro Education Association & the Gloucester County Education Association, educators had the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics including social media usage in the digital age. Staff member were also treated to a catered lunch prepared by Stellato Markets. There was even enough food to share with the Paulsboro Police Department!

A heartwarming Paulsboro Jr-Sr High School winter concert! The combined voices of Paulsboro staff along with the Paulsboro Junior Choir & Concert Choir created a rich, resonant sound that fostered a sense of kinship.
