Colony of 40+ cats in need of URGENT help‼️

We are currently working on getting a very large 40+ colony of semi-feral to feral cats fixed, vaccinated, and flea treated.

It’s a very sad situation as the caretaker passed away and there already was not enough food for them to all survive on (many are currently very skinny) but now there is nobody willing to feed them and everyone where they are located does not want them around putting these cats at risk of something bad happening to them and even starving to death! They are diving into trash cans as I’m trapping others because of being so hungry 💔

Because of this horrible situation they are in need of URGENT help‼️

I will be adding more pics of cats needing relocated as we trap them

You will be required to have an enclosure/cage set up for strict 4-6 week confined transition period so they imprint properly on your property as their new home!

They will all be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and flea treated (if needed).

They MUST go in at least pairs as relocation is extremely stressful on them and having a familiar cat with them is a huge help!

Help us get these babies all to safety! There are all different ages, patterns, females and males needing help!

You do NOT need to have a barn to give them an outdoor home, but must have some type of shelter they will have full access to for shade and protection from elements (garage, catio, shed, etc).

Due to the urgent situation we are only asking for a $50 rehoming fee per pair of cats and $25 per additional cat past that if you are looking for more than 2. This ensures they go to safe homes while also keeping the program going as this is a HUGE undertaking to try and help so many in a short period of time!

***We will transport cats for safe outdoor placement anywhere within 3 hours of our rescue in Paulding, OH***

So far we’ve been able to trap 13 to be fixed, vaccinated, and flea treated. One even needed an eye removal surgery yesterday due to a severely infected and damaged eye. She will remain with us.

2 have gotten released back at trapping spot after surgery recovery due to one turning out to be a nursing mama so she needed to get back to wherever her kittens were and the other was a very large male that clearly has been having plenty of food.

1 will get released back at trapping site after surgery recovery as it is fairly friendly and good weight so clearly has someone caring for it and just happened to end up in our trap

The other 10 however are remaining in our care at the moment.

Many of these 40+ cats will need relocated to new, safe outdoor homes with a proper caretaker willing to feed them and provide shelter.

If you or anyone you know is willing to give a safe outdoor home to any of the kitties we’re trapping PLEASE reach out!

You will be required to have an enclosure set up for strict 4-6 week confined transition period so they imprint properly on your property as their new home!

They will all be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and flea treated (if needed).

They MUST go in at least pairs as relocation is extremely stressful on them and having a familiar cat with them is a huge help! Some are bonded and will be required to go together as a result.

Help us get these babies all to safety! There are all different ages, patterns, females and males needing help!

Please keep in mind these cats are semi-feral to feral so are not likely to want human interaction. Although some may come around a bit over time after getting settled in.

The science on Trap-Neuter-Return programs for community cats has been building for decades. And a new research summary published in April 2026 by Texas A&M researchers brings that evidence together in one clear statement.

According to Dr. Amanda Blake, an associate research scientist in the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, TNR is the only humane, evidence-based, effective method to control unowned cat populations that live outdoors. The research confirms that TNR works by stopping the breeding cycle, which in turn addresses the community concerns most commonly raised about outdoor cat colonies, including disease spread, fighting, spraying, and yowling.

TNR programs work like this: community cats are humanely trapped, brought to a veterinary clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped (the universal visible sign that a cat has been through the program), and then returned to their outdoor homes.

The research also highlights something called the vacuum effect. When cats are simply removed from an area without being spayed or neutered, new unsterilized cats quickly move in to fill the space. TNR prevents this by stabilizing colony populations over time.

Beyond population management, TNR reduces shelter intake, lowers euthanasia rates, decreases calls to animal control, and saves taxpayer money. Cats who are no longer focused on mating and reproducing also tend to coexist more peacefully with the people living near them.

For those who care about community cats, this research is worth sharing. The debate over whether TNR works is, scientifically speaking, largely settled.
