Free kittens often lead to more free kittens. 😿

Unaltered cats continue the cycle, and too many of those kittens eventually end up homeless, suffering outdoors, or overwhelming shelters and rescues already struggling to keep up.

UPDATE on Blackjack!

For those of you that didn’t see Blackjack is the 5 week old kitten who someone dumped behind the museum in town I rescued last week. His eyes were completely matted shut and quite skinny all alone! He would have died there 💔

BUT NOW LOOK AT HIM 😻

Bright eyed handsome little boy! He is absolutely loving it at his foster home with the 3 little girl kittens that are now his “siblings” 🥰

Blackjack as you can see is doing better already! His eyes are clear and bright now, no more infection! And now that he’s healthy he was able to be joined with a litter of kittens about his age in a foster home so that he can have “siblings” and not grow up alone.

It’s SO important these tiny babies have siblings or friends their age and aren’t completely alone as that’s how they learn so much socially!

Also huge thank you to Lynn Warren for ordering an incubator and syringes/nipples off our wishlist for all the neonates coming in! Definitely very much needed supplies!

Sponsored adoption fee kitties!

A generous donor has sponsored some of the kitties that have been at the rescue the longest so that their adoption fee is ONLY $30 now!

Each of these kitties has been at the rescue for almost a year now and desperately seeking their furever homes!

All kitties are:
-spayed/neutered
-vaccinated
-dewormed
-flea treated
-microchipped

They also go home with a blankie with their scent on it to help them adjust to their new home as well as a surprise goodie bag

We have requests coming in every day for help with kittens and right now being that we have 92 kitties in the care of the rescue we truly can’t take anymore in unless we get more fosters on board!

All of our current fosters are FULL and the rescue is FULL so please if you are interested in fostering send me an email at [email protected] for a foster application

All medical care, food, litter, and other supplies needed are provided for you!

You MUST be able to transport the fosters to and from the rescue in Paulding, OH every 2 weeks for follow up appointments for dewormings, vaccinations, etc!

Meet newest intake: Blackjack 💙

Someone contacted me about a kitten behind the museum in town…I go over there to look for it and the poor tiny thing is just dumped back there by itself tucked behind a shed but out in the open with its eyes matted shut terrified 💔

It’s obvious this overly tiny 5 week old kitten was dumped hidden back there by itself which brings up so many emotions in me!

PLEASE spay/neuter your cats and strays around you…and for goodness sake don’t dump a sick baby somewhere and leave it to die!

If I had not gotten to this poor lil guy when I did it would have died there scared, alone, and suffering!

He’s now at the rescue eyes cleaned and treated, warm, fed, and safe with a fake mama for the night by its side. It will go out to a foster home tomorrow to be combined with a litter of his same age so he doesn’t have to be alone.

We are now at 92 cats in care of the rescue and in need of donations to continue caring for them all!
