The Paulding County Flat Rock Creek Fall Festival is this weekend. We will have our Emergency Communications trailer there. Drop in and say Hello.

We will be setting up for field day Saturday at around 9 AM. Antenna needs strung up in trees, trailer moved, antenna secured and set up of other antenna. Our primary antenna will be an off center fed dipole with secondary being an end fed half wave. Come join us.

We will be having our monthly club meeting tonight (Thursday) at 18:30. Meeting will be held at the Black Swamp Nature Center 753 Fairground Dr, Paulding, OH 45879. WE will be building an off center fed dipole antenna. Tonight we will wind the 4:1 balun and 1:1 common mode choke.

Field Day is here! Having a blast. Lots of contacts. The homemade Balanced Terminated Folded Dipole (194 foot long) is working wonders.

The club will be setting up for this years field day this Saturday starting around 9 AM. The actual event officially starts at 2 PM. Come out and see our communications trailer and if you want to we will show you how to talk on the radio. ALL are welcome. Food and drink will be available.

September 11th the club participated in Ohio State Parks on the Air (OSPOTA). We set up at Independence Dam that Saturday morning. It was a contest to see which club could make the most contacts.
There were over 199 hams, 36 clubs, 58 parks and 95 logs submitted. We placed 9th in our category. GOOD JOB GUYS!!
