Did you know on May 20 2024 that the U.S. Marshals Service recently led a six-week operation that resulted in the recovery of 200 critically missing children across the nation? 🇺🇸 Operation We Will Find You 2 focused on areas with high clusters of missing children, ensuring their safe return to their families. ( FOR SOME REASON THIS WAS NOT A NATIONAL HEADLINE)
Among the recovered children were:
A 1-year-old girl whose mother was convicted in the death of another of her children.
A 12-year-old girl suspected to be a victim of s*xual abuse.
Two girls, aged 15 and 17, suspected to be victims of human trafficking.
Three 16-year-old girls, with one being a victim of suspected s*x trafficking and another of human trafficking and s*xual exploitation.
🔍 The operation was conducted in collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies, along with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It's a reminder that we must remain vigilant and proactive in protecting our children from harm.
