Seasonal Trail Pass required Dec 1 - March 31. Come explore 25 miles of Adirondack trails on our 3,000 acres. Hike through Boreal Forest, relax by the Heron Marsh, or climb to the summit of Jenkins Mountain! Come by in winter to enjoy our amazing ski trails! The Paul Smith's College VIC is conveniently located just 1 mile north of Paul Smith's College on State Route 30.

Join us on Juneteenth for this free lecture about bird form and function by MIT engineering professor, Lorna Gibson. Hear about her new book, Birds Up Close and stay after her talk for a book signing at the Paul Smith’s College VIC!

We are excited to welcome back Lorna Gibson, MIT engineering professor, to talk about her new book “Birds Up Close.” Lorna will take us on an exploration of bird feathers, beaks and physiology through the lens of her professional background as an engineer and her personal love of birding. Last week we welcomed the second crew of our first grade adventurers from Davis Elementary of to the VIC! These beauties are in full force. Painted trilliums are distinctive in their single, stalked flower with white, wavy margined petals. They have an inverted magenta “V” marking at the base of each petal. See them while you can, they will be gone before you know it!
