Club member Allie Estes won the regional art show for Bollinger County.

At last nights meeting members spoke about summer safety and then made bubbles for the local parents as teachers group. Then after our meeting clover kid Laikyn Foltz made ants on a log with apples.

Attention all 4-H Youth showing Livestock!!

We are hosting an SMQA on May 15th at 6pm in the lower level of the Cape Girardeau County Extension Office. This is open to all of the Southeast Region.

The rules for SMQA state: anyone that is new to showing will need SMQA, anyone who did their first one last year will need one, and anyone that is 14 years old in 4-H years will need an SMQA. If you are not sure if you need SMQA ask your local 4-H staff or Alexis Link at the Cape County Extension Office.

This morning members worked on their sewing skills and made a bag to take home.

🎨🇺🇸 Calling all 4-H’ers in grades 3–12! Celebrate America’s 250th by entering the American Heroes Student Art Contest. Create original 2D artwork and a short artist statement inspired by one of 250 historic Americans.

🏆 Winners will earn a trip to Washington, DC this July, with their work featured at the Great American State Fair and honored at a national ceremony.
