All open, 4-H and FFA livestock entries are due August 8, 2026 at midnight. This includes 4-H rabbits, poultry and horses. If you wish to enter open classes you must also enter in those, it is not automatic. There is a late entry deadline of August 22nd or an additional $50 a head late fee. Enter online by August 8th at https://semofair.fairentry.com/Fair/SignIn/23308 . Late entries are paper forms only.

Show Me Quality Assurance (SMQA) is required for 4-H & FFA members to show.

Attention all 4-H Youth showing Livestock!!

We are hosting an SMQA on June 29th at 6pm in the upper level of the Cape Girardeau County Extension Office. This is open to all of the Southeast Region. This is the LAST in person SMQA being held in the Southeast Region for the year.

The rules for SMQA state: anyone that is new to showing will need SMQA, anyone who did their first one last year will need one, and anyone that is 14 years old in 4-H years will need an SMQA. If you are not sure if you need SMQA ask your local 4-H staff or Alexis Link at the Cape County Extension Office.
