☀️🌊 SUMMER ADVENTURE STARTS HERE! 🚀🏕️

School may be out, but Cub Scout Pack 81 is ready to get started!

This summer our Cubs will be launching water rockets, cooling off with water balloon games, exploring Camp McConnell, building recycle regatta boats, practicing swim skills, designing egg-drop contraptions, kayaking, camping, serving our community, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether your child loves science, sports, the outdoors, crafts, or making new friends, there's a place for them in Cub Scouts!

📅 Pack Meetings: 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM

🎉 **Pack Meeting Celebration** 🎉

What an incredible night for our pack! We proudly celebrated our Arrow of Light Scouts as they crossed over into their troops — a huge milestone in their Scouting journey. 🌉⚜️

Congratulations to our AOL Scouts on all your hard work, leadership, and dedication. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing adventures ahead in Scouts BSA!

We also celebrated rank advancements across the pack tonight. Every badge earned represents perseverance, growth, and new skills learned along the trail. Great job to all of our Scouts for their achievements this year! 👏🐾

A big thank you to our leaders, volunteers, and families who help make these moments possible. Your support means everything.

Kicking off May the Cub Scout way! 🌿 This weekend’s campout was full of adventure — we helped clean up the lakeside, did a little fishing, played games, made our own "fossil" casts, and soaked in the great outdoors. It may have been a bit blustery, but the smiles (and the sunshine peeking through) made it beautiful. ☀️💨

Our Cub Scouts had an action-packed meeting full of creativity and discovery! 🌟

We got hands-on making slime (always a favorite!), explored the night sky while learning about constellations, and put our problem-solving skills to the test with some epic domino mazes.

So proud of the curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm these Scouts bring to every meeting. The future is bright! 🔦✨

Last night our Pack meeting was all about giving back 💛

Our scouts worked together to create blessing bags for members of our community experiencing homelessness. Each bag was filled with hygiene items, snacks, and warm socks—small things that can make a big difference.

So proud of these kids for showing kindness, compassion, and a true spirit of service. This is what Scouting is all about! 🙌

🐉🌙 Cub Scouts Celebrate Lunar New Year! 🌙🐉

This past Monday at our den meeting, our Cub Scouts learned about Lunar New Year and the traditions celebrated around the world. We talked about the meaning behind the holiday, the zodiac animals, and how families celebrate with special foods, decorations, and gatherings.

The scouts had fun exploring a different culture, learning new traditions, and celebrating the start of a new lunar year together. 🧧✨

Learning about holidays and traditions from around the world helps our scouts grow in curiosity, respect, and understanding of others. Great job, scouts! 👏

Cub Scouts Host Pinewood Derby

Patterson Cub Scout Pack 81 hosted their Pinewood Derby on Sunday evening. The event gave scouts the opportunity to build their race cars and put them against each other in a head-to-head race down a high-speed track.
The cars were all built by hand, and there were a variety of designs that made each and every one stand out.
The event also raised some money for the Cub Scouts, as they had food available with all proceeds raised going to Pack 81.
It was an impressive show of craftsmanship and ingenuity by the Scouts and they were able to see their hard work building the cars pay off.
