We were pleased to sponsor a visit from Maine Author, Cathie Pelletier to our library & high school last Thursday evening. It was an amazing time and was throughly enjoyed by the high school students and the evening attendees. This was made possible by a grant from Point32 Health Foundation, the Philanthropic arm of Harvard Pilgrim. Thank you to Library Director Julie Buhler for making the evening's event go smoothly & to Board Member Bryan Buhler for preparing a fantastic buffet.

REMINDER THIS IS HAPPENING TONIGHT!!!!

We are excited to share that Maine Author Cathie Pelletier will be at Veterans' Memorial Library and Patten Lumbermen's Museum on September 17th at 6pm. She will be speaking about her Best Selling Book "Northeaster: A Story of Courage and Survival in the Blizzard of 1952" Cathie will have copies of her books available for purchase that evening. The Friends of Veterans' Memorial Library were able to sponsor this event through the support of the philanthropic arm of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Point32Health Foundation
