Hispanic Heritage Month continues at Garfield Public Library, come celebrate with us!

Join us at the library after hours on Friday, 10/9, 6-8 PM for Noches de Tradiciones - an evening of live music and dance featuring Pepe Santana (Grupo INKHAY), 2026 NJ Heritage Fellow, plus a traditional Dominican dance group. Light refreshments will be provided.

Thank you to our partners: Hispanic Alliance of Garfield, the Folklife Center of Northern NJ, Passaic County Community College, and the NJ State Council on the Arts (a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts).

The celebration doesn't stop there: author Julio Anta will be visiting GPL next Wednesday, 10/14 for a graphic novel workshop (Gr. 3+, seats limited) and an author talk about writing as a career. Registration is required for the workshop, please reserve a spot on our website www.garfieldnjbccls.org or by calling the library at 973-478-3800!
