Our adults with developmental disabilities and Autism are in clear and present danger of abuse and neglect in the group homes of New Jersey, generously funded by Medicaid and DHS. The introduction of cameras in common spaces of homes housing tiers C, D, E will provide an extra layer of safety!

This Autism minute is brought to you by PACOPAD to avoid frustration and thinking that your child can do less than his/her capabilities. Remember the use of timers (like they do in schools) and ONE step at a time. After steps are mastered, you can "chain" all steps and practice, practice, practice. This training is both for parents AND children. But it pays off big time! Use it for self care (bathing, toothbrushing), putting order in bedroom and simple recipes.
