In Memoriam: Theodore R. Wagner, Esq.

It is with great sadness that St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) remembers Theodore R. Wagner, Esq., a former member of the SPCDC Board of Directors, who passed away on August 2, 2026.

Ted was a dedicated member of the SPCDC family whose wisdom, leadership, and commitment to our mission left a lasting impression on our organization. Many current and former Board members had the privilege of serving alongside Ted and experiencing firsthand his generosity, thoughtful counsel, and dedication to the communities we serve.

We are grateful for Ted’s years of service to SPCDC and for the many ways he contributed to our mission of strengthening individuals, families, and communities. His service and friendship will be remembered with great appreciation.

Funeral Service
Saturday, August 22, 2026
11:00 a.m.
All Saints' Episcopal Church
Glen Rock, New Jersey

Interment will follow at All Saints’, with a reception in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.

We extend our deepest condolences to Ted’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who were fortunate to know him. We join them in mourning his loss while giving thanks for the life he lived and the difference he made.

May he rest in peace. 🕊️

Congratulations to Natasha McCutchen, Emergency Men’s Shelter Manager at St. Paul's Community Development Corporation (SPCDC), on being recognized as a 2026 Paterson Alliance Extra Mile Award Honoree.

Natasha is a compassionate leader dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness with dignity, respect, and care. In her role, she fosters a safe, structured, and supportive environment where residents are encouraged to rebuild stability and regain hope.

Beyond managing daily shelter operations, Natasha is deeply committed to building meaningful relationships and connecting residents with critical resources, including housing, healthcare, and employment support. Her hands-on approach and genuine empathy reflect a steadfast commitment to meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.

Through her leadership, countless individuals have found not only essential services, but also encouragement, compassion, and renewed hope for the future. Natasha’s unwavering dedication to others truly embodies the spirit of the Extra Mile Award.

Last week, our Executive Director, Richard C. Williams, attended the Mayoral Forum on Community & Economic Development. Hearing firsthand about the challenges facing Paterson residents reinforces our commitment to showing up, listening, and taking action.

Due to steady rain, cool temperatures, and potential for high winds in the forecast, Passaic County Parks & Recreation’s Earth Day Festival at Rifle Camp Park has unfortunately been canceled.

While the rainfall will certainly benefit our local environment, conditions will not allow us to safely and effectively host the event.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and thank our vendors, partners, and community members for their continued support. 🌎🌿
