Musicians of the Ocean City Pops Orchestra OC Pops Musicians in action! Members Steve Heitzer, Gared Crawfors, and Luigi Mazzocchi were joined by longtime subs Jim Ward, Doug Mapp, and Emily Buck, as well as former MD Bill Scheible and former concertmaster Olga Konopelsky in supporting our orchestra and letting audiences know about some of the troubling changes that have been taking place to our beloved Ocean City Pops over the last few seasons. Thank you to local16.248afm and American Federation Musicians field organizer Alex Neiwirth for their support! And thank you to all of you that follow and support our musicians!

Dear Members,
Please stand with us in solidarity with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra this Wednesday September 2nd. We will be distributing leaflets to let concert goers know that this is a non-Union event.
The Music Director of the Pops is undermining the orchestra he was hired to lead by programing events that take work away from the orchestra while using non-union musicians at low paying rates without benefits.
We will meet at 6:30 PM at the base of the ramp leading to the boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace. The concert is at 7:30. We greatly appreciate any members who are able to show up in support of the members of the Ocean City Pops.
In Solidarity,
Tony Scally

What a fabulous Reed section for Guys and Dolls! 🎶 We were all smiles at the start of the show, and everything was going great... until Mother Nature decided to make an appearance about an hour and a half in! 🌧️
The rain sent us scrambling to pack up our instruments, but everyone pitched in, helped each other out, and handled it like true troopers, that is the great community we have!
