The Paterson Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) was proud to participate in the FEC Convening, an opportunity to connect with fellow financial empowerment professionals, participate in valuable training sessions, exchange ideas, and strengthen our knowledge and resources.

Through professional development, collaboration, and continued learning, our team is better equipped to serve Paterson residents with FREE, professional, one-on-one financial counseling.

Our commitment remains the same: helping individuals and families take control of their finances, improve their credit, manage debt, build savings, and work toward long-term financial stability.

FEC NEW YORK and NEW JERSEY TOGETHER !

A Meaningful Experience at the 2026 FEC All-Partner Convening!

Proud to represent the City of Paterson at the 2026 Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) All-Partner Convening in Baltimore, Maryland! 💙💚

Over 200 partners from nearly 40 FEC locations came together for two days of networking, professional development, and knowledge-sharing focused on sustainability, partnerships, storytelling, and strengthening financial counseling services.

One of our biggest takeaways was the importance of collaboration, data, and sharing real client success stories to demonstrate the impact of financial empowerment in our communities. We were also honored to participate in the Fundraising Exchange, sharing Paterson’s experience in building partnerships and securing philanthropic support to help sustain our Financial Empowerment Center.

Experiences like this remind us as a team that public service is about more than managing programs. It is about building relationships, finding opportunities, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

We were Grateful for the opportunity to learn from colleagues across the country and bring new ideas back to Paterson as we continue working toward greater financial stability and opportunity for our residents. 🙌🏽
