On this Memorial Day, we hold sacred the memory of all who served, especially the service members of color whose sacrifice built this nation, often unrecognized and undervalued.

We remember those who fought for freedom abroad while fighting for dignity at home. We honor the courage it took to serve a country that didn't always serve you back.

Their legacy is a testament to resilience, to claiming citizenship, to refusing to let injustice have the last word. That spirit lives in our work at Revive & Renew. We carry forward what they fought for: a beloved community where everyone belongs and everyone thrives.

We did it! We reopened our Urban Garden and launched our Free Library and what a beautiful day with the community.

Multiple generations came together, placed our lending library structure on the soil, nestled The 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones as our first book, and planted the first seeds of the season. Hands in the earth. Knowledge within reach. A child looked around and declared: "I will be a Farmer because I know about plant life."

That's the power of showing up. That's what happens when we come together.

We know all life is sacred: the soil, community, and our neighbors' dignity. We know that access to land, to food, to knowledge, to each other - these are forms of justice. When we come together, we heal and grow the world.

We did it! We reopened our Urban Garden and launched our Free Library and what a beautiful day with the community.

Something powerful is taking shape in our community.
Revive and Renew NJ CDC is building a Multipurpose Center designed to support the health, education, and overall well-being of individuals and families.

This space will serve as a hub for:
• Emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness
• Public health education
• Housing stability resources
• Financial empowerment services
• Safe, welcoming space for seniors to connect and thrive

We are creating more than a building, we are building access, opportunity, and community.
A place where people can move, learn, grow, and feel supported.
