Thursday's Child of Long Island Provide an Early Intervention Service to those who are newly diagnosed with HIV or AIDS.

Founded in 1989 and incorporated as an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1991: Thursday's Child provides information, referral, education, awareness, housing, food and financial support to our neighbors in need who are living with HIV/AIDS. Provide supportive services to persons living with HIV and AIDS on Long Island, NY

Thursday's Child is collaborating with Center for Transgender Care at Northwell Health and collecting non-perishables for over 300 pantry bags to give out at Angels of Long Island on Sunday 5/17! Just your neighbors helping neighbors, and some of us happen to be Trans 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️If you need food, come by and grab a bag. If you can lend a hand, volunteer with us. 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

Strong collaboration between Thursday's Child and our fellow AHF affiliate, Siloam Wellness. Our thanks to Sarina, Siloam Executive Director, for joining our client group to present about services. Our connection with AHF & other affiliates allows us to do more and help more People Living with HIV stay engaged with medical care and continue life-saving treatment. Siloam has so many great resources we can offer together. Staff share the flyer for Siloam's virtual support groups and we offer in-person support groups. Call us for more info!
