Welcome to our page! We are a foundation that specializes with searching and finding lost huskies that decided to take an adventure or escaped from their homes as some may call it. We also help Husky owners think like their fur baby to help keep them secured in their yards and prevent future escapes. If the owner can’t afford to make the necessary changes, we use donation money to make the repairs or installations for them so the owners do not have to pay a penny towards keeping their fluff babies secured.
If you find a lost husky, you can reach out to us 24/7 and we will send one of our skilled and trained Husky owners out to secure the pup or pups and bring them to VMCLI in West Islip for a chip scan, vet check up, and placement holding until the owner can pick them up. Our founder of our organization is a local paid paramedic on the island and runs this foundation to help huskies. However, we will assist in searching and find for any dog breed that goes missing or securing any breed, but Huskies are our specialty. Anyone who has ever owned a Husky, knows they are a very special type of breed and need experienced people to help them when they make an oopsies and need help finding their way back home again.
If you find a Husky who appears to be injured, we urge you to contact us ASAP, as we can provide immediate care to the Husky while in transit to VMCLI. Our founder is in the process of trying to purchase an ambulance to be used to transport sick and injured dogs to VMCLI. While NY State prohibits ambulances to be used for emergency transports of animals, this ambulance will not be doing emergency transports. All transports will be non-emergent status meaning no lights or sirens will be used for responding to calls or transporting animals. This ambulance will have certified vet techs on board all of whom will be volunteers as well. In order to make this happen and to help members of the community, we need donations. We have a GoFundMe page that will be set up to receive donations.
We NEVER charge a penny to anyone for the services we provide. Our entire foundation is strictly run on donations. No one ever receives a bill or is expected to pay a reward to us for locating or helping their fur baby. We will help anyone whether they make a donation or not to our foundation.
