🧯 Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when using fire pits or grills

💧 Always fully extinguish fires—douse with water and stir the ashes.

🌬️ Refrain from burning on windy days, as even a small breeze can spread embers.

📞 If you spot an uncontrolled fire, call emergency services immediately.

🚨Attention Suffolk County homeowners and business owners: If you experienced damage due to the flooding from August 18th to 19th, it's crucial that you fill out the Self-Damage Assessment Report.

❗️This report will help determine whether Suffolk County residents can receive resources to assist with the recovery of their damages. Please make sure to complete the assessment to ensure your needs are accounted for.
