We want to thank Etna Highpoint Church for their donations from their January food drive. This was the last dropoff. All together they collected over 400 items weighing 381 pounds. 👏 Thanks to everyone for your overflowing generosity.

Due to the level 3 emergency, recent snowfall and freezing temperatures the Storehouse for Jesus will be closed Tuesday, Jan 27th. Our first priority is everyone’s safety. We will reopen February 3rd normal hours. If you are in need of food and the level 3 is lifted you can go to HEART Pantry at 6475 E Main St #101 Reynoldsburg. They are an all zip code pantry to. Praying for everyone’s safety during this time.

We appreciate the donations of clothing at the storehouse but we are asking people to please follow the rules we have when donating. We have been getting a lot of items that we cannot put on our shelves. This is a list of requirements. We ask that they be followed.

1. Clothing must be clean and smoke free
2. We DO NOT accept underwear that has been worn.
3. Please sort between winter and summer clothing. We only take winter items in the winter and summer items in the summer.
4. Clothing must be gently used, no tears or stains.
5. Shoes must be slightly worn but clean
6. We accept clothing only, NO household items. We don’t have the storage space for it.
7. Please do not leave bags outside at the door. Someone must check all donations before being accepted. If left outside and unaccepted they will be put in the dumpster. They must be dropped off on Tuesdays 10-12 or Thursdays 6-8.

Monday the Pataskala Lions Club briefed the council on the 2025 Cookie Walk. A donation to the Storehouse for Jesus Food Pantry and Pataskala methodist Church's Free Food for Kids program in the amount of $11,000 each. We want to thank everyone who participated in the 2025 Cookie Walk and the Lions Club for making it happen. I’m sure next it will be even bigger.
