Borderlands Earth Care Youth Institute The BECY Institute is a paid internship for High school youth based in Douglas and Patagonia Arizona to teach practical skills in environmental work.

The BECY Institute is a program with the goal of restoring nature's original beauty. Projects such as stream restoration, pollinator planting, trail maintenance, etc. are diligently worked on by local youth with a shared passion for being outside and making a positive impact on the land. The interns gain a wide variety of skills during this internship including tool use, native plant identification, and knowledge of patterns in nature.
