Food Bag Distribution - Feb 14th 8:30 to 10:30.

We distribute supplemental food bags using a drive-up, drive-through system from our Harsahw location. Volunteer staff load groceries into clients’ vehicles. Each bag contains healthy, nutritious, nonperishable foods such as canned soup, peanut butter and jelly, pasta, beans, corn, chicken, pork, rice, cereal, as well as perishable foods including fresh eggs, hot dogs and tortillas.

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Food Bank,

It has been an unprecedented month and year, challenging beyond any other year in our 30 years of operation.

The very good news is that thanks to our dedicated volunteers, donors and wonderful clients, we were able to meet the much-increased need for food in our community during the fall and early winter of 2025.

For Immediate Release: November 8, 2025

The East Santa Cruz County Community Food Bank, Inc, which serves clients in the eastern half of Santa Cruz County, Arizona, will conduct an EMERGENCY FOOD DISTRIBUTION for those who have lost their SNAP benefits.
This distribution will be held on Saturday, November 15th, from 8:30am to 10:30am at the food bank, 772 Harshaw Ave, Patagonia, AZ. This distribution is limited to individuals and families that have lost their SNAP benefits for November.
This emergency distribution was sparked by a 25% increase in demand during our regular monthly food distribution for November.
The East Santa Cruz County Community Food Bank is prepared to help people experiencing food insecurity on an ongoing basis.
Future emergency food distributions will be scheduled as the need arises.

The 2025-2026 vegetable distribution season is officially open outside the Patagonia Senior Center, featuring produce from Borderlands Produce Rescue in Nogales. We distribute every Monday from 10:30 to 11:30. Please be sure to look for our sign posted outside the senior center.

Given the uncertainty around the continuation of SNAP benefits, the federal government shutdown, and the impact this may have on families in our community, the East Santa Cruz County Community Food Bank is prepared to assist those experiencing food insecurity within the limits of our resources.

We are currently assessing the increase in demand for our services that may occur. We will continue to post updates on our website, ESCCCfoodbank.org as events unfold.

Be aware that food banks do not have the capacity to replace all the benefits of the SNAP program, however we will provide as much food aid to our community as possible.
