June is National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month! 🍎🥕🍓

Healthy habits start young, and access to nutritious foods plays an important role in helping children learn, grow, and thrive. At PYEC, we are committed to helping youth build healthy habits by offering fresh fruits and vegetables as part of our meals and snacks, maintaining our own community garden, and partnering with organizations like the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona to provide nutritious food options for local families.

Adding more fruits and vegetables to your family’s meals doesn’t have to be complicated. Small changes like adding fruit to breakfast, including a vegetable with dinner, or trying a new produce item each week can make a big difference over time.
