I’m still smiling about what the Riverview kids helped create today.

A single mom of three is starting over, and we wanted her gift to feel personal. The kids had the day off for the holiday, so each one made her a note and helped paint the box with a Halloween theme.

Inside are more than $92 worth of products, all free for her. Our couponing efforts brought the cost to about $29. I love that a good deal became practical help, and the kids added their own kindness to it.

That is The Riverview Community Foundation in action: neighbors helping neighbors, with a little extra joy tucked inside.

Our sweet 14.5 yr old RayRay was diagnosed with a collapsed treachea today. And, due to her age and risk of an extensive surgery, she will continue living the good life as long as possible with us here at RCF.

She came to us last year after her sweet owner had to go into a home and could no longer care for her. She was well loved in a beautiful home for 13+ years. She’s 12 pounds of spice with a fun-loving attitude!

Thank you to our monthly contributors who have helped cover these creatures bills 🦴🐾🐶

If you’d like to help RayRay with her recent vet bills ($192.00 and $181.00), simply visit The RCF Shop link below. Shop for things you actually may need or simply scroll to the bottom of the shop and make a tax deductible donation only! RayRay also needs a grooming appointment donated and booked to look all cute again!

Thank you RCF fans 😃

✂️Thank you Amy for always doing a fabulous job with Dolly! And thank you to our wonderful friend who donated her spa day.

Dolly gets to go to the beauty parlor every 6-8 weeks. She’s one of our Sanctuary dogs here at Val’s Pals and has that crazy doodle hair. As seen in my last video, we are thrilled to announce that she is still in remission for melanoma cancer!

🐩She would love to get her next groom sponsored now if anyone would like to help continue helping Dolly.

Thank you! 😊

🥇 We are better together!

🔥 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped support our new friend after she experienced a car and house fire. Even as a small group, we were able to come together and offer meaningful, practical help.

⛪️ We’re especially grateful to the small church congregation that collected a special offering for her yesterday. We understand they’re facing a difficult time within their own community, which makes their generosity all the more moving.

Thank you for showing up with such compassion. We appreciate you! 😊

Friends and fans of Dolly…here’s your update!

Thankful Thursday! We are grateful for all of the animals in our care and they are all thriving.

🐾🦴🐕‍🦺Who remembers Elvis? He’s our blind Weimaraner who lives with the Vals Pals crew. He was found in the middle of the road almost a year ago now tired, thin and cut up. I thought this boy was more of a hospice case and he’s completely proven us wrong! He’s strong, rock solid and stands at the front door every morning until he gets his daily walk.

🍗He eats every bite of food if we give him and he knows what he likes and doesn’t like lol. He doesn’t like green beans, carrots, banana or blueberries, but loves spinach, broccoli, pumpkin and eggs.

He still barks and hates loud motors firing up or motorcycles on the freeway. However, he’s gotten better about not getting so freaked out now.

🙏We want to thank our friend Amy for supporting Elvis with food, nail trims and supplies like his new grip socks.

And thank you all for loving him when we see you on our walks and on this page!
