🎉💯🎉 Yay! 100 followers! 🎉💯🎉

100 followers may not sound huge to the internet.
But to us? That’s 100 people connected to families, animals, and ag education in our community.

100 people helping turn care into action and connection into impact!

And that’s the key to something huge!🔑

If you’ve ever wondered how to be part of helping your neighbor, it’s usually something simple.

♻️For RCF, it’s a bag of cans.
👚It’s few quality items you don’t need anymore.
✅ It’s letting your neighbors know we’ll pick it up.

That’s the key to something huge.

Please share that we are here. And if you’d like to make a massive impact, become a monthly donor. The monthly link is in the pinned post on the top of this page. Thank you 😀

Well, we applied to “The Pitch 2026” here in SLO County to help get our Non-Profit off the ground. I got a call that they’d like us to re-apply next year after we are more established. Oh, well!

It’s been an interesting journey navigating what some of these massive Non-Profits do and how they operate. Unbelievable really! It would feel best to me to really be self-sustainable anyway. We are making strides towards that by having 10% of our funds put into long-term savings from Day 1.

Of course, we would like to reach more people and we will! We invest into helping our people in so many ways and get amazing results. I can’t wait to see how this will work out for us and our organization in the future!

I’m absolutely thrilled and proud of our progress since January 2026 🤩 We are averaging about $100 a week in can, bottle and glass donations and are extremely grateful to have added on 2 new businesses who are partnering with us.

Thank you to everyone spreading the word! Riverview residents recently had a fun day with a couple horses from Oliver’s Herd! We brought the ranch to town for a few hours. It was a wonderful enrichment activity. Some of them have now signed up to come out to the ranch to learn more and one wants to be an active 4-H participant in Ag Education.

A few people have asked how the recycling part works.

We collect cans, bottles, and glass. Our community sorts the bags, and we take everything to A-1 Salvage here in Paso Robles.

When the funds come in, they’re split the same way every time.
70% goes directly into RCF programs.
10% goes into our Give Fund.
10% into short term savings and emergency needs.
10% into long term savings for future projects and stability.

Last year that meant supporting Echo Homeless Shelter, Vineyard Hills Health Center, and an affordable housing family who helped us the most.

It’s consistent, it’s transparent, and you can see exactly where it goes.

We’re continuing to reach out to local businesses and individuals to help us collect cans, bottles, and glass.

Hosting a recycling bin or becoming a drop off spot for your neighbors is a simple way to be part of it. We’ll handle the pick ups!

We also made a new flyer to make things a little more clear as we go.
