Bikes for Tikes A charity organization focusing on giving those in need a bike & a helmet. U.A. The past four years have been very successful. A hot lunch will be provided.

Local Union 598 Plumbers & Steamfitters fundraise to purchase bicycles and helmets for Fitters Bikes for Tikes and then donate them to the Local Marine Corps Toys for Tots. 100% of fundraising money and donations purchase bikes and helmets. In 2013 the members of Local Union 598 raised enough to purchase 1,713 bikes and helmets. Our membership along with volunteers, local high-school students, and community leaders assemble the bikes and help organize toys. We are looking forward to providing bikes and helmets to even more children this Christmas. The annual bike build will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton Franklin County Fairgrounds. Pins, lanyards and long sleeve t-shirts are available at the Union Hall.
