Hello Parents and Players,
we are looking for volunteers at the upcoming Lacrosse State Championships to help cover our league fees. if you have never been to the state championships, it’s a lot of fun. They play all of the high school championship games in one day, there’s high school “all conference” games, & the youth play honor games. It’s all located at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. We would greatly appreciate any time you could give. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Here is another coach spotlight! 🌟

Meet our Assistant Coach, Josh Needham! Here is a little bit about Josh and his love for this game! 🥍

Lacrosse is a sport that quickly became an obsession for me. I started it late in 7th grade and switched to d pole halfway through 8th grade year and never looked back. I lived and breathed for the sport whether it was Chiawana lacrosse or the elite teams in the offseason that I played for I could never get enough of it. Not only do I find a sport I loved I found people that I formed life long friendships with. The sport then led me to coaching which I quickly realized can make me a better version of myself for the kids I have the privilege of coaching. Starting as a Chiawana coach and now being able to coach once again this time with my former teammates and brothers. I get to share my life experiences and coach the youth to help them realize it’s much more than coaching them about lacrosse, I am coaching them about life. I am proud to be a coach of this school and of this program.

We are grateful for Coach Josh and his hard work and dedication! 💚

With the season coming to an end, here is a coach spotlight! 🌟

Meet our Head Coach, Shay Fellows! Here is a little bit about Shay and his love for this game! 🥍

I have been passionate about lacrosse since i first picked up a stick in 2011. That passion took me on a journey to becoming a leader on the team through my high school years at Chiawana. It also took me to various states competing at high levels for the Seattle Starz. I made the transition to coaching in 2022 for chiawana. Stepping into the new realm of coaching only fueled my passion. It’s been a fantastic journey that had lead be back to my old team the Honey Badgers to coach the 3/4s and then joining the coaching staff for the rattlers select team. Ive dedicated my time to sharing my love for the game and helping players elevate their skills on and off the field. It is a privilege and honor to be apart of the lives of the young community and help foster brotherhood, sportsmanship the character the these players.

We are grateful for Coach Shay taking on our first season as a new club! 💚
