Tonight is National Night Out at Gesa Stadium! Your Dust Devils baseball team will have the doors open at 6:00pm and first pitch is at 7:00pm! Come say hi to several of your Pasco Firefighters! We will be collecting donations to Fill the Boot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This is a great opportunity to meet several of your first responders in person! You might even get to see some of your Pasco Police officers there…. 😉 We hope to see as many of you as possible! ⚾️🚒

Your Pasco Firefighters held a 3-day Pump Academy for newer members working toward Engineer certification (driver/operator). Training focused on apparatus driving, pump operations, water supply, pressure management, and positioning under real world conditions to build safe, confident, and effective emergency response skills.
We’re proud of the dedication and professionalism shown throughout the academy and the continued commitment of your Pasco Firefighters to training and readiness.

Your Pasco Firefighters stayed busy on the Fourth of July, responding to 107 calls for service.

We'd like to extend a special thank you to the call takers and dispatchers at Southeast Communications Center for their unwavering dedication.

While handling thousands of 911 calls, they coordinated and ensured the timely response of emergency agencies across Benton and Franklin counties with professionalism, precision, and composure.

Without their expertise, we'd be driving around Pasco looking for orange glows. Thank you, SECOMM.

Several of your Pasco Firefighters are going home with some hardware! Firefighter Ryan Savage, Firefighter Juan Sanchez, Firefighter Mike Beckwith, and Retired Kennewick Firefighter Erick Wakefield took 1st place at the WSCFF(Washington State Council of Firefighters) 87th Annual Convention golf tournament. Just another way that your firefighters continue to build relationships with firefighters from all over the Pacific Northwest! Congratulations and Happy Golfing! ⛳️

Your Pasco Firefighters are on scene of a plane crash near the blue bridge, in the Columbia River. Please steer clear of the area while emergency responders are dealing with this incident. This is the best way to keep yourself and our first responders safe. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Stay safe 🚒

Today at 1448 hours, your Pasco Firefighters were dispatched to a natural cover fire at Burns Road and Road 108. Crews from Fire Stations 83, 84, and 85 responded and found a fast-moving fire endangering a cellular communications tower.

Several companies supporting the expansion and development of our ever-growing city noticed the smoke and immediately jumped into action.

RP Development was in the vicinity with a water tender and quickly reacted, stopping the fire’s northern progression. Almost simultaneously, TJ and Alan from Rotschy Inc. arrived and offered their assistance. TJ proceeded to put on a clinic in rapid fire suppression, stopping the fire’s western progression and drastically reducing the amount of mop-up work required by responding crews.

With temperatures rising and fire activity increasing, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the employees of both Rotschy Inc. and RP Development, who stepped up to serve their community when the opportunity presented itself.
